- Sweet pepper: a teaspoon
- Cinnamon: a quarter of a teaspoon
- Onions: half a kilo
- lemon peel: 1 grain
- pine nuts: half a cup
- vegetable oil: to taste (for frying meatballs and onions)


How to prepare

1. For meat: mix the meat, with pine nuts, salt, black pepper, paprika, red pepper, and cinnamon. Shape the meat into small balls the size of cherries.
2. Chop the onion into thin wings. Heat the oil in a saucepan over a fire; Fry the onions until wilted, then remove from the skillet, while retaining the frying oil.
3. Fry the meatballs in the same pan until browned, then add the fried onion wings to it, along with the lemon peel. Add tomato sauce, and cook the mixture in the saucepan, over medium heat, from 15 minutes to 20 of them. Turn off the heat and set the pot aside.
4. Serve the dish, along with peppered rice.
