Ingredients
Milk: 3 cups (liquid)
Fine semolina: half a cup
Sugar: 3 tablespoons
Mastic: sprinkle (ground)
Rosewater: a tablespoon
Banana: 2 tablets
Lemon juice: a tablespoon
Cream: 2 cups ( Or cream / whipped)
honey: to taste (to garnish)
almonds: to taste (crushed / to garnish)
How to prepare
In a saucepan over medium heat, put milk, semolina, sugar, and mastic.
Mix the ingredients until they boil.
Let the mixture boil for 5 minutes, mixing every now and then.
Turn off the heat and remove the pot.
Add rose water and pour the mixture into a round (9-10 inch) glass dish.
Cover the plate with nylon paper and put it in the refrigerator overnight.
The next day, slice the bananas.
Pour lemon juice on the banana.
Spread the banana on top of the dessert.
Put the cream in a sweets bag and spread it over the bananas.
Decorate Lebanon nights with almonds and honey, as desired.
