Ingredients

- Potatoes: 800 grams (boiled and mashed)
- Minced beef: half a kilo
- Tomato sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Parsley: 1 tablespoon (chopped)
- Vegetable oil: 30 ml
- Onion: 2 tablets (medium size / cut into small cubes) )
- Carrots: 200 grams (cut into small cubes)
- Garlic: a clove (crushed)
- Bacon: 115 grams (chopped)
- Cooking cream: three-quarters of a cup
- Cheddar cheese: one and a half cups (grated)
- Butter: 3 tablespoons
- Salt: to taste
- Black pepper: to taste
- Nutmeg: sprinkle

How to prepare

  1. Put onions and carrots in oil, until wilted, then add garlic and fry ingredients until wilted for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the meat and bacon, and stir the mixture until well combined.
  3. Add parsley and tomato paste and cook for two minutes.
  4. Add salt and black pepper and leave the mixture on fire while stirring.
  5. Mix the mashed potatoes with the cream and nutmeg to get a homogeneous mixture.
  6. Grease an oven dish with butter and spread a layer of potatoes, on top of it a layer of meat, then another layer of potatoes.
  7. Spread the cheese over the potatoes and bake the pie in the oven for 30 minutes in a hot oven at 220 ° C.
